Mr. Neal is a licensed Professional Engineer with experience in the automotive and consulting industries. As an engineer, he conducts vehicle collision and mechanical component investigations, and applies the principles of design, analysis, testing, and safety to forensic evaluations involving traffic collision investigation and reconstruction. Mr. Neal has inspected hundreds of vehicles in his career including: passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, scooters, wheelchairs and more. He has the training and expertise to analyze and evaluated roadway construction zones and their respective maintenance of traffic plans. Mr. Neal has training and experience in the foundational science and technical literature as well as state of the art simulation software widely used in the field of collision reconstruction. Mr. Neal has performed hundreds of photogrammetry analyses of vehicle damage that is no longer available for inspection and of incident locations when roadway evidence has been lost to time. Mr. Neal holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
Mr. Neal has investigated and reconstructed hundreds of motor vehicle collisions in his career. He is a Certified Crash Data Retrieval technician and has the training and experience to image Engine Control Modules(ECM) for heavy duty commercial vehicles. Mr. Neal is a licensed FAA remote pilot (drone) and has documented numerous incident locations providing high-quality, high-resolution aerial images of incident locations and vehicles. Mr. Neal has performed crash sled testing, including frontal, rear and side impacts.
